Surface Design Show

As a student who is enthusiastic about design, I was thrilled to go to the Surface Design Show in London with two of my classmates. The yearly festival showcases surface materials, showcasing the finest in textures, interior design, and architecture.

Displaying unusual materials that pushed the limits of design through labyrinths of stands. There was something for everyone, including eco-friendly wall coverings and lighting ideas. The use of technology to create surfaces that effortlessly combine art and usefulness caught my attention the most. Finding out how much focus was placed on sustainability also made me consider how the industry is evolving, which I really enjoyed.

Seeing these materials up close helped us understand how design will develop in the future.
